CentOS 7 End of Life: Upgrade and Migration Guidance
CentOS 7 reached end of life on June 30, 2024. Systems that still depend on it should be evaluated for migration to a supported operating system.
Before migration, inventory applications, repositories, runtime versions, control panels, databases, firewall rules, scheduled jobs and custom services. Build and test the replacement environment before switching production traffic.
Choose the target operating system based on application compatibility and support lifecycle. Keep a tested backup and rollback plan throughout the migration.
